Intermittent I and II explores reflection as an unstable condition of spatial perception. Through folded and intersecting mirrored planes, the three sculptural works fragment their surroundings, transforming architecture, light, and movement into shifting visual compositions.
The reflective surfaces alternate between revealing and concealing their environment. Depending on the viewer’s position, certain planes appear to dissolve into the surrounding space, while others interrupt it through sharp angles, distorted images, and unexpected reflections.
Each work establishes a different relationship between surface and depth, object and environment, stability and transformation. Rather than presenting a single, complete image, the series invites the viewer to move around the sculptures and experience perception as something continually reconstructed.
What appears to belong to the object may, in the next moment, reveal itself as a reflection of the space beyond it.
